Anisotropy elucidates a directional dependence of a property. The AMS is a special parameter indicated by the magnetic fabric ellipsoids of maximum principal axis (ƙ1), intermediate axis (ƙ2) and shortest/minimum axis (ƙ3) i.e. ƙ1> ƙ2 >ƙ3.
